LINEUPS / ROSTER CHANGES
Each team must start:
1 QB
2 RB'S
3 WR'S and/or TE'S
1 Kicker
1 Defense/Specialty Team
- Lineups are due 11:00 a.m. Sunday. Lineups called in
or posted after 11:00 but before 12:00 will be accepted but owners must pay a $5 late fee.
- Lineups that have already been called in
or posted can be
changed until 12:00 but owners must pay $5 change fee.
- If a lineup is not called in
or posted by 12:00 Sunday then the
previous week's lineup will be used. Owners must pay a $5
non-participation fee. Owners who do not turn in a lineup will not be
eligible for the weekly prize.
- Players starting in a Thursday or Saturday game must
be called in before kickoff. If a player is not called in then last week's
lineup will be used to determine if the player will start. This means (The Butka
Clarification) that players who were in the
previous week's lineup will be put in this week's lineup if the owner does
not inform the commissioner and/or the league of anything to the contrary. Once a
starting lineup is posted then it will remain your starting lineup unless
you inform the league and/or the commissioner of any changes.
- Whenever last week's lineup is used to determine a
team's starting lineup nothing will be assumed. If last week's lineup
consisted of a bye player then this week's lineup will have unfilled
positions. A player who is obviously out due to injury or suspension will
not be replaced.
Roster Change Fees:
$2----Add
$2----Drop
$2----Bye player pick up
$1----Place on IR (per week)
$1----Take off IR
$2----Trade fee per team (per deal - in addition to regular add/drop fees)
- Roster changes are allowed from the time that stats
are released (no later than Wednesday) until Sunday's 1st kickoff. All
players who are not on a CPFL roster are considered restricted free
agents until Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
- Restricted free agent pickups are subject to the
roster change priority list which is generated every week and is based on a
team's total power points using record tiebreakers. The team with the
fewest power points will be at the top of the priority list. Whenever a
restricted free agent is picked up, the acquiring team will move to the
bottom of the priority list.
- Players who are not claimed by Thursday 8:00 p.m. will
become unrestricted free agents and be available to the first team that
makes a request. Players who are dropped by the Thursday evening deadline
will become restricted free agents and remain so until Friday at 8:00 p.m.
where the same free agency rules and priority list applies.
- All players who are dropped after the Thursday
deadline will not become available until the following week.
- If a position cannot be filled by a player on your
active roster due to a bye week in the NFL then a bye player may be picked
up for that week. Bye players may be dropped from a team at no cost but if
an owner wants to keep that player then he must pay regular roster change
fees.
- Teams with bye players will have the "right of
first refusal" until Wednesday 8:00 p.m. If a team keeps a bye player
they will not be charged with a priority move. Players who are dropped as a
result of a team exercising this right will become restricted free agents.
Bye players who are not acquired under this option will become restricted
free agents.
- Players may be placed on the injured reserve list (IR)
if they have a status of at least questionable on or after Thursday (USA
Today). A player who is on the IR is considered to be off of the active
roster.
- Thursday's roster change deadline is moved to 6:00
p.m. if there is a Thursday game in the NFL.
- The roster change deadline is moved to Wednesday
8:00
P.M. prior to Thanksgiving. All players who are dropped by this deadline
will be restricted free agents until 9:30 A.M. the following morning.
- Moves can
be made in the playoffs.
- Teams
who are not involved in the playoffs and only playing for the weekly award
may make moves but these moves will not affect the available players for the
teams who are still involved in the playoffs. For example, if a team who is
not involved in a playoff game picks up a player then that player will still
be available for one of the playoff teams. Both teams will get to use that
player in their weekly lineup.
- The trade deadline is the first kickoff of week nine
(11/3 12:00 P.M.).
